It doesn't show well or anything, it healed well. But when the sun shines on it you still see some irregularity. It's a minor problem, but I was wondering if this could be fixed? I also have a little scar or something on my forehead, from the chicken pox. And I'm starting to get early wrinkles around my mouth from laughing, anything I can do about that? Would it be ok to use normal anti-wrinkle cream or do I have to use different cause my skin is still young?

Do you exfoliate? If not, you might want to try that.

An exfoliant is a scrub.

oh yeah, I scrub it. But scrub isn't against scars...

The best thing to use is the Epidermx microdermabrasion cream. It's much more than a regular exfoliant or scrub. It's like a treatment - by getting rid of the top layers of dead skin cells. With the regular exfoliant or scrub, you won't see your dead skin cells come off.
I've been using this Epidermx for a couple of months and it has almost diminished my all lines and pitted acne scars (I use camellia oil with it which also helped). My skin tone is so much brightened up and my skin texture is evened out significantly. There has never been any irritation, discomfort or peeling as when I used any Retin-A products. It also does not dry my skin out. When I used other exfoliators, my skin usually felt tight, but not with this Epidermx.
I'm pretty sure this stuff will fix your problems. The regular anti-wrinkle creams will not do much for scars and pigment irregularities.

I was just going to say something about Epidermx too!
I just got my samples of this and this stuff AMAZES even me!
I have scars, sun damage etc. and Epidermx even after one treatment has made a BIG difference plus my skin feels like velvet even 2 days later.
You can check the auction sites or do a search to get it. I used the camilla oil too after and it really was softening and soothing. My skin is very very sensitive to products and this didnt bother me at all, nor did it break me out. With the exception of bareminerals makeup there isnt too many products I will be a slave to but this one is one of the few.

Hmm... Epidermx, is it okay for young skin? Won't it damage my skin? It sounds very aggressive, and I'm really careful with using products on my face.

I dont know how old you are but maybe ask your dermatologist or doctor.

I'm 16. My mom (who is my family doctor) would probably be against it. She doesn't care about cosmetic procedures. It's hard to ask her questions about health and everything cause she doesn't treat me like her patients. She's just like 'yeah yeah you don't need it blah you can do it if you like it's your choice I don't think it's necessarily' while not hearing a word of what I'm saying and reading a book while we're talking or so. I'm starting to wonder if I have to make appointments with her assistant as well and visit her practice for her to take me seriously.
Like she already disapproved my diet without knowing a thing about what I was doing. While she did approve my former diet, where I ate all junk food and drank lots of soda.

It's a good idea to make an appointment with your mom's assistant and see her in her practice. I think she'll treat you more seriously this way. The Epidermx is not really a cosmetic procedure like laser, Botox or plastic surgery. It's not aggressive at all. There won't be any irritation or discomfort. Your skin just looks a bit pinkish right after the treatment and it will be soothed immediately with a moisturizer. If you are concerned that you are too young for this kind of thing, ask your Mom or another doctor.

Yeah, I guess I will. Can it burn your skin if not used properly or leave scarves? Is it hard to use?

I would see another doctor if my mom didn't take me seriously. I don't mean anything against your mom of course, but I know I would feel like I could talk to another doctor more professionally. It may also be that she would talk to her patients as she does you, but of course she can't or it wouldn't be professional :) I'm sure there are many of times when a doctor would just like to say yea, yea, etc.. but they can't. As for the diet...if you are staying away from the sodas and junk food now, as a fitness expert..you are on the right track :)
Does anyone know if the camilla oil would be bad for oily skin?? Seems as if it would being an oil.....???

I think all oils are good for the skin, as long as they don't cause break-outs or blackheads. Thanks for your advice everybody. :D Appreciate it

It will not burn your skin nor cause scarring. It's non-invasive. There are no side effects. Your skin will only look a bit pinkish right after the treatment. Apply a moisturizer and it will look amazing.

What does it do then? If it doesn't peel or anything. I think I will try it, cause everybody seems so happy about it. So there's no way I could screw this up then?

It removes the dead, outer layer of the skin. You won't feel any pain or discomfort. Your skin will feel very soft, smooth and refreshed once your dead old skin cells are stripped away. It won't screw you up. You'll be glad you did it.

Ok, so it won't do anything extreme then? How will it get rid of my scars?

It definitely won't do anything extreme. As you massage the cream into your skin, it flattens and polishes scars (I'm talking about pitted scars/blemishes here. I don't know if it works for raised ones). It also stimulates new skin cell and collagen production so that your scars will also be plumped up from underneath the skin.
Having said that, I've read that any kind of microdermabrasion is effective for mild to moderate scarring only. It may not work as well if the scars are very deep set.
