Does anyone else suffer from what feels like extreme flu like symptoms with their headaches? I'm talking exhaustion, aching, weak, dizzy, shakes, etc. I feel like I'm going to die!!

sigh, every day for the last 6 years unfortunately. I had so many dreams too. Dreams that have been shot down by one day of pain after the other. A constant battle. And now the sickness, why don't people in the real world understand this or take it seriously? I only get understanding in places like these with others who care, I can barely get a doctor to show sympathy let alone give me what I think will work to help the pain and all along I too feel like I am dying. A downward spiral that will never end. And I think the more I complain about it the more God makes me live with it and I can't help but complain. I feel like I'm driving everyone away from me because it's too much, it's the only thing on my mind literally.

It sounds like it could be a migraine. I have had them for years, with many of the same symptoms you mention. I have been on many different perscriptions, but the thing that seems to work for me better than anything else is this combination:

Two Aleve
One Aspirin (both taken with Coke for the caffeine)
One dose of benedryl or dimetapp (relieves nausea and dizziness)
and a few squirts of nasal spray up each nostril
I then rest for about 30 minutes.

I still get a mild headache, but that is nothing compared to all of those other symptoms.

I have headaches like that...about a year ago..was sick almost every day..was getting to the point I couldn't raise my own children...
I went to my GP & She told me that most people with antiphospholipidsyndrome have migraines like that...I was diagnosed a few years ago with the antiphospholipidsyndrome after our first son was stillborn & had 2 mc...
Anyhow..she gave me a beta blocker InnoPran XL to take..works as a preventative...& Frova to take when I get sick...She truely had them under control...felt like I actually had a life again...rarely got sick ...& when I did could take Frova & would get rid of my headaches & all that went with it without the drugged feeling...may take a couple hours..but sooo worth it...
Then we got a little shocker a few weeks ago...found out we are expecting...my OB took away everything except prenatals & baby asprin...have been doing pretty well really...strangely sometimes when you're pg you don't get the migraines...with my baby who's 2...I went almost 6 mos. without a migraine...was wonderful...but...have been sick for almost 24 hours now...& don't want to take anything....have that fear of hurting the baby..ya know...
But..try to find a female doc....I think they understand us better...
Ask your doc. about preventative migraine treatment...I refused it the first time I went & they offered it...but...got to the point was sick every day & couldn't take it any more...& was greatful let her give me the meds she did...
Good Luck...

I've been having strange headaches almost daily for about 2 years now.
The pain would not be too bad, sometimes barely noticeable. But the sickness! That all makes up for it.
Lightheadedness, dizziness, nausea, inability to think clear, pressure behind the eyes and top of the head and weakness. Could this be migraine with no pain?
Do migraines hit around the same time every day? Mine starts or gets worse around 5-6 PM daily now! Would only go away if I come home, lay down and unwind.
Sometimes, when I sleep in longer, I already wake up sick. :dizzy:

do you know why Benadryl/Dimetapp takes away the dizziness and nausea?

I dunno...I'd go see my doc. I've always had unbearable pain w/them...would rather go through child birth...
