I know this topic has a pretty funny name to some, but I am just tryin to figure out what is happening.Just about every morning when I wake up I have a nose full of large dried boogers. When I "remove" them most of them are dark/bloody.Sometimes there might even be some blood on my finger after the "removal".I cant recall exactly when I noticed this starting.I recently quit smoking and I dont think it used to happen when I smoked.Thats the only correlation I can think of.Anyone heard of this or know what might be happening please help.Thanks.....

Well, your nose is obviously bleeding while you are sleeping. The most common cause? Well, your house (or bedroom or whatever) is probably really dry....the dryness causes irritation of the mucous membranes in the nose and you get bleeding.

Otherwise, are you on any blood thinners or daily aspirin? Do you pick your nose alot (sorry, not trying to be gross).
