I would like to start using a microdermabrasion product but there are so many to choose from. Can you tell me please which product you use and why you like it. Also if there is any other product you use with the microdermabrasion that you like. Thanks

I just got and tried Epidermx and Silkia Camilla Oil.
Epidermx has left my very sensitive skin baby smooth after 1 treatment, no irritation/breakouts. I am probably one of the biggest skeptics for beauty stuff being a cosmetologist/hairdresser/former spa worker and this stuff works and works well. The Camilla Oil I have tried before and liked it but the combo of these 2 products is truly fantastic. I have tried a few of the other microd kits inc. the very expensive Prescriptives one but never had the results of anything like I got with this. I have sun damage/scarring, etc and my skin tone/clarity/smoothness was improved with even this one use.
I got the items off one of the auction sites, a small trial was 6 bucks plus shipping and the full size Epidermx was about 45 and Camilla Oil was 12 plus shipping on each.

Agree with the Epidermx. It's one of the best, if not the best microderm cream out there. I've been using it for a couple of months and everytime I use it, I still see improvement in terms of clarity and smoothness. I also use camellia oil with it as an after treatment moisturizer. They have given back much hydration and lustre to my dehydrated face. My face has a luminous glow nowadays. My acne scars and lines have been drastically reduced also.

What does the microdermabrasion do for the face anyways? Does it give the skin an even tone and reduces blemishes?
I have always been curious.

Microdermabrasion is a very popular non-invasive skin-freshening technique that safely removes the dead, outer layers of the skin to reveal younger looking skin underneath. It stimulates new skin cells and collagen production and gives skin an overall fresh, healthy looking glow.
Yes, it gives the skin an even tone and reduces blemishes. It's great for brighening dull skin, clearing up oily skin, evening out uneven skin texture, getting rid of blackheads/whiteheads, unclogging pores, reducing pores, age spots, pigment irregularities, fine lines and acne scarring.

I've had real microdermabrasion done twice by professionals, and I'm wondering if this Epidermx will be any different? To be honest I didn't see much of a change in my skin after the professional treatments... smoother and tighter I guess, but my acne and the ravages of it (hyperpigmentation) are my biggest concerns. Actually, after each treatment I broke out the next day pretty moderately (3-5 new pimples).
This Epidermx sounds awesome, but if I've had real microdermabrasion before... how different is this cream, really? Have any of you using this cream had real micro done?

Okay, Im interested. Where can I get this product at. Is it an online thing only or can I get it over the counter some where?
Another question I have exzema that some times forms on my face will this make me break out!

I have never done any professional microdermabrasion, so I don't know how it compares with the Epidermx. I've read that if you have a lot of active acne, you shouldn't do any microdermabrasion until your skin is pretty clear. If you had bad acne when you were doing the professional microderm, it could indeed make you break out.
The Epidermx has never caused any breakout for me. If you read the product description, you'll know that it's different from other microderm creams because it does not contain any irritating and pore clogging ingredients that are often found in other microderm creams.

Thanks for your replies. Where can I get Epidermx? Is it just the cream alone or do you need to use it with an applicator? I don't care either way, I just want to put my money into something that may work.

Go to the big auction site and type in epidermx. There are samples for $6 plus shipping which (at least with mine) they added a sample of camilla oil for free. It is done with your hands not a machine. There is very detailed information included on the auction page on what it is, does, and how to use. This stuff rocks!

Just a note. The girl who I got this from just sent me a note to let me know Epidermx no longer wants their item sold on the auction site so you need to go to a search engine and look there to get this.
