All over my arms and throughout the trunk of my body, i have these sort of freckle looking bumps that kinda resemble acne. They are red. What are these? I've had these for quite some years and have never questioned it until know when i started working out mroe frequently. What are these things? Looks like small little dots.

They might be keratosis. This is a hereditary skin condition where the hair folicles clog up forming little bumps all over your skin. This can affect any part of your body.
For me it is on my arms and butt. For my daughter, it is on part of her face, and her arms.
If you pick at them, sometimes stuff comes out, along with a hair.
Without seeing the bumps you are talking about it is hard to say for sure.

Is this permanent or is there a way to make them less noticeable? Thanks for helping me out.

When you a showering you can scrub with a loofah. This helps to wear them down if indeed it is keratosis. Then moisturize. There is no cure as of yet for keratosis.
