GO TO NEW YORK AND SEE YOUR MOTHER!
Get her some help. Get her on the correct pain medicine, with doctors who will find an answer. If she is crying from pain, she needs pain medicine and a diagnosis. She needs you THERE, not where you are now, comfortable at home where you can do nothing for her!
My God! How long will you talk about it before you do something?
My husband was the same way. His mother was sick and he could not spare a minute. Yet now he claims he did everything he could do to help her. She's dead now, and he is free to pretend he cared. People like that make me sick.

I totally agree. You will be glad you did! I believe you do care for her, otherwise you wouldn't have posted about her at all. I lost my father three months ago and I couldn't fly to CA to say goodbye because I'm not able to travel due to my illness. If there were any way possible, I would have been there and now he's gone. Someday your mom will be gone too, and you will feel so much better about yourself knowing you did everything in your power to help her.

I would be willing to bet that after reading the first few posts, deluxe designs has done a disappearing act. You notice that he/she has not responded? Just in case I am wrong, let me tell you my story, too.
My 90 year old mil has been failing badly for the last couple of years, and we have brought her into our home to finish out her days. I give her all the love and caring I can while I can. I know I will be glad I did. I listen to her repeat herself, telling the same story over and over again....and I wish with all my heart that it was MY MOM I am listening to. She died at the age of 59 and I never had the chance to repay her for all she had done for me.
Go To New York!
