- Need to go to bed on time.
- Perform cardio types of exercises like jogging, bicycling, or taking a long walk; these exercises need to be OUT DOOR because our bodies need to be exposed to the sun. Insomniac people should exercise OUT DOOR regularly because exercise helps our brain to reduce endorphin that helps us to get good sleeps.
- Drink a warm cup of milk half an hour before bedtime.
- Try to relax about 2 hrs before bedtime; reading a book and listening to a classical music would help.
- Solve your problems before you go to bed.
- Take multi vitamins and fish oil.
- Just always think that you will fall asleep when your body needs to; do not force yourself to close your eyes. If you go to bed but cannot be able to sleep, you shall get out of your bed and read a newspaper, or a book, or advertisements. Keep repeating it until you fell sleepy.
- Please do not take sleeping pills; they will not work after a while.

Sleeping pills do serve a purpose...that's why we have them. However they shouldn't be used on a nightly basis or extended period of time.
