Hi! My question is actually for my mom. She was diagnosed with an unlocated disc a while ago when she went to see her doctor for back pain she was having. She has tried things like traction and that thing where they stick needles in you to help with the pain, but nothing worked. Even her pain meds don't help her at all. I am really worried about her though because lately her pain seems to be getting worse and sometimes she even starts to cry it is so bad! She usually handles it really well though by still getting up every day and going to work and doing other things she has to do during the day, but i know that she is always in excrucitating pain the whole time. Her doctor told her that having surgery would be the best thing for her, but i know that she is really worried about having it done for the risks can sometimes not be so good. I am also really worried for her if she has it done, but then again i think she should get it done if it will help her. I just really want her to feel better. So i was just wondering if anyone else here has ever had this surgery before and how the outcomes of it were and if it helped you or not. I just wanted to maybe have her read this so that she can have some other people's opinions before deciding to have it done. Thank you for reading!
