PS Jac, don't you have a thyroid problem? If this is the case, this can cause your perimenopause to be much worse. Let me know.

Yes I was treated for graves and not i take thyroid replacement hormones. I took the saliva test but am waiting on the results to check my female hormones. Have you had yours checked?

No, haven't taken the saliva tests yet, can't afford them. I had graves back in the eighties, took some liquid formula for about 3 months and came out a winner. The anxiety attacks stopped, etc. Then of course, here I am again, but they keep saying my thyroid is normal, but it is a very low normal. Why do they have to wait until the thyroid fails before they do something for you? It's so ridiculous.

I know what you mean. I had graves about 4 years ago and had the radioactive iodine. My counts are normal, high normal right now. I will let you know about my saliva test when I get the results.
Hopefully

Definitely! I would dread the week before and the first three days of my cycle. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with PMDD, but I've come to realize that it was probably the beginning of perimenopause. Like many others I also heard the infamous words "You're too young". Right! Tell that to my retiring ovaries :).

LOL Yes, those retiring ovaries do give us a big problem, don't they? And you know something else, many think that menopause is an overnight episode. It takes years of transition to get to the final stage! So perimenopause is alive and kickin' and we are in the pre-stage for years before the final episode, at least most of us are.
