Hi,these boards are so wacky the last few days I haven't wanted to touch them!! We have passed on a few boards and I find you to be very knowledgeable about several things I am interested in knowing,I feel like my brain is on overload, I'm sure you understand,so if you don't mind if I pick your brain a little here and a little a later,I swear it's like air up there,I take notes get them mixed up, lose them, throw them out, he-- I don't know maybe aliens are eating them.To the point now,do you know just how much difference there is between a company that is BWC insured and privately insured as the company I work for and where I got injured is privatley ins. and seems to me the rest of you are talking a foriegn language to me because my case has been going on for 4 years and sounds nothing like I hear all of you messaging about.Hope to stay in touch and see if I can maybe make since of all this as I believe some of our injuries are some what alike.

I know what you mean. Here is a good web site that might help you. http://www.ohiobwc.com/
It explains the difference between private insured and BWC.. Even though they are private insured they still have to abide by BWC laws and regulation. I have been fighting WC for 5 years now and and going thru what I hope is my lasy surgery next Teusday. If I didn't have an attorney I would have given up long ago. Good luck and I hope that site helps.

Aroberts,Thanks alot I would love to have found that site 4 yrs ago, though we didn't have a computer when I first furt my back.I'm supposed to feel honored that they have treated me w/meds for 4 yrs for a strain/sprain .I know that max.allownce on that condition is 6-12 months big problem is that is NOT the injury I have I lost all my appeals because a dr. that preformed my 2nd discogram took 14 months to get the written report to my attorneys and of course that was way to late and I did call all the time, kept a log of all calls ect.I have changed attorneys as I think it was pretty sad of the first ones to not get that letter I don't feel they did all thay should have, now company is stopping my meds and everything until my case is trialed 12/17/03 by jury and if I win.No way can I afford trial by jury it will cost a min. of $2500 for each Drs testimony and everyone I have they have gotten at least 3 to dispute it for now I guess we will continue to play the bluffing game up to the trial. Thanks again for info will look through it more .Will keep you in my thoughts nad prayers.

Hi jdlfmc. They are stopping all of your meds until December?? That is just so cruel and inhumane. I can't remember from your posts but are you on pain meds also? Isn't it sad that so many lawyers, and doctors also, are just in it for the almighty dollar and really don't care much about their patients/clients welfare. I sure wish I could help you but I know nothing about wc. God bless and I hope things start turning more in your direction.
