Hi guys,
I have a terrible burning sensation all over my face, I don't what's causing it, my skin is acne prone, I do get pimples every now and then, can acne cause this?
I tend to get a dry/exfoliating face after I am done showering, my derm said this is a good way to 're-new' my facial skin, however now I am thinking, it might be my soap that's causing this too, since the dry skin and all...
I don't know if those are related, but I rarely get exposed to the sun and I have HSV1.
This is REALLY annoying! :(

I would recommend a mild soapless cleanser like Spectro Jel or Cetaphil - you also need not exfoliate every day. There are exfoliation products designed for sensitive skin - I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Sensitive Skin and it works fine. Also, you may want to consider purchasing some aloe vera gel - you will find 99% pure aloe vera gels at health food stores. Aloe Vera is a natural anti-inflammatory, so it should reduce redness and burning.
