i have a question. i had a stress test with nuclear imaging about 9 months ago and it was normal, but im having all these symptoms i need help with. here they are: headache, chest, back, neck, shoulder and arm pain, both sides, fatigue, muscle spasms in the same areas,a squeezing feeling in my left breast and ribs, short of breath, heart palps, dizziness and lightheadedness,i can stand up or move a certain way and my heart slows down and i get very lightheaded, nausea and weakness. like i said ive had numerous test and all were normal, the things i know i have are: reflux, gastritis, and i just found out that my spine has curved to the left in my cervical area. i have a dr's app. this afternoon, but im just not feeling good right now and needed some advice. thanks for any help.

Even a stress test with nuclear imaging can miss blockages. It missed mine.

tammy,

The first 4 or 5 upper body symptoms can be linked directly to your cervical spine impinging on a nerve bundle (even the heart rate change when you bend a certain way.) Many of the mid-body complaints can be tied to the Reflux and gastic and esophageal inflammation.

But since they can also point to the heart area, I'd say have an ECG at your earliest convenience. I don't think there's a need for a run to the E/R though.
An aspirin a day even WITH the gastritis is probably STILL a good idea til you get to the doctor...maybe WITH Maalox?

I hope you are on a proton pump inhibitor (Nexium, Aciphex) or at least Zantac or Tagamet...no need to walk around with reflux burn!

hi zip. im sorry i was wrong the curve is in my upper thoracic spine the dr said between my shoulder blades.he did and ekg yesturday and there is no damage to my heart but he is setting me up for a stress test with ultrasound,he said to be safe.i think i worry too much also. i did not know your spine being curved could cause such problems. my dr is sending me to a nuero surgen he said that when your spine moves like this it can cause a whole host of problems with muscles, nerves and breathing problems.it is just very scarry.also i dont know what the degrees mean but he said mine is 28. thank you for all your help.

ever read a book or watch a movie called "Pain Comes from the Mind"? Its an interesting movie/read. if you think about it too much, it may very well happen, but not because its accually happening, but your mind is causing it due to past experiance. Have those tests done and speak to your doctor after the results. the mear thought of it can get you over worried about it and will start having some of the pain as described.

I know all too well about that.
