Can anyone please tell me which market brand of CLA is good. I saw one at Walmart for $12.97 (EAS CLA was the brand) but it only contained 1.5mg of CLA? What about the one sold at GNC, which contains 1000mg of CLA? I read on ***** that if you should buy CLA that it should contain at least 80% of conjugated linoleic acid. Any help or advise I would truly appreciate. Thank you :)

i think most people here that have tried CLA are taking the Tonalin brand that is from GNC. :) Hope this helps.

You can purchase CLA Tonalin at places other than GNC. I am currently taking Iron-Tek CLA with pure tonalin that I purchased at a nutrition store. It contains 1000 mg of CLA Complex, of which 780 mg is CLA.
You really just need to read labels. The CLA should be Tonalin & made from Safflower. Be sure it lists the actual CLA dosage. Most of these pills contain things other than just CLA.

Thanks so much for the response Acemartini & Rhea. One last question and that is: About how much should I look to spend at GNC for this product (CLA)? or if I purchase it at a nutrition store? I will be certain to READ the labels. Thanks for the tip. You two have been helpful. :)

Hi there! I started using CLA and got mine from GNC. The only thing I didn't like about it was it made me bloated and gassy and took more frequent trips to the ladies room, :eek: even if I didn't eat something to encourage the gas. I did notice a change in my weight though so I am sure if I had stayed on it, I would have seen more of a change. Good luck with it!

I got mine online for $19.99 per bottle (discounted when ordered in 2 or more quantities) 90 count with 1285mg per capsule (1000mg of safflower oil)
