Almost seven years ago I had a hystorectomy (complete) and I was only 35 so they put me on premrin and I did fine. One day the botton of pills spilled all over the counter and on the floor. I thought I had gathered all of them up until one day when I turned on the stove...I almost had to leave the house because of the smell. One of the pills was heating up and it was smelling of it's maker!!! I decided that I couldn't take that anymore so I was swithched to menest. It is made from a soy deritive which didn't gross me out like the premrin did. Well I started to wean my self off because I hate the thought of being dependant on drugs (optimistic I know). I have been off for quite sometime now but I start to SWEAT without any warning. On an average I would say that it happens at least 12 times a day depending on my activity level. Sometimes when I have over done it for the day I just need a blanket even in the middle of summer. This sweating happens usually when I am trying to get ready to go somewhere and my hair is ruined and my make up looks patchy at best.

I also have more problems..fibromyalgia, IBS, and Aheasions. I am in alot of pain much of the time so I don't know if it is related to the pain or from surgical induced menopause. I have this other problem too... when I get into bed I have to put several blankets ontop of me to be comfortable. When I awake I am fine but if I lay there with all of those blankets on top of me I will begin to sweat. I almost feel as if while I am sleeping my heart slows down so much that I am not getting the circulation of blood that keeps me warm.
