I know it is not easy to sue, but for those that had their TMJ problems clearly caused by a dentist or in an accident, have you tried to file a lawsuit? Did you settle out of court or go all the way? How was your experience? I would like to sue those responsible for harming my TMJs, and I need any information I can get from those that sued or tried to sue. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I was going to try as soon as I can get some pain relief - not necessarily for tmj since it will be hard to prove anyone actually caused it - but for negligence since my dentist refused to see me when I started to chonically complain of pain on one side and left me to fend for myself. It is very difficult to find a new dentist when you have an existing condition - they just don't want to get involved with a potential "problem" patient.
