The tip of my index finger was pricked by a thorn 2 weeks ago. The thorn was located on a small twig. The wound on my finger has already recovered, but my finger is still a little bit swollen and painful.I believe there is no a slice of thorn was remained on my finger when my finger was pricked. But
I like to know if I damaged a nerve in the finger and how long I have to wait ? If i have to see a doctor, what kind of doctor should I see? hand surgery or micro surgery ( I am not sure it is a correct name )?
Thanks

Ooo, depending on what was on the thorn. Might be a low grade infection. If it persists....go to a doctor.
