my diet is this as of right now (since june 1, coming off of a successful bulk)
9am 6 egg whites with a little cheese, cup of oatmeal and 3-4 slices turkey bacon
930 ish-workout followed by cardio. when done i consume a post workout recovery drink with 50g dextrose and scoop creatine and then immediately consume a whey shake with water
11am-12pm either 6oz lean steak or chicken breast and either medium serving of mashed potatoes or spanish rice
2-3pm whey shake in water (no carbs, about 1-3 g fat)
6ish sandwich with low carb wheat/oat bread, mayo and large amount of deli sliced chicken
9ish 6oz lean steak or chicken and either medium serving mashed potatoes or spanish rice
11-12pm whey shake in water with 2 teaspoons peanut butter
now this is my current cut... next month will be the last month of cutting and i will get even stricter... ie miracle whip instead of mayo, no carbs in BOTH of my last meals of the day etc... i was wondering what suggestions any of you wonderful ladies and gentlmen have to offer? anything is appreciated (btw this cut is working wonderfully). i also plan to use some sort of thermogenic in my last month of cutting so as to get rid of that little tiny bit that just won't go away!!! lemme know people
as always thank you so much for the time to respond,
Darrin

I don't like the idea of lifting followed by cardio. These should be separated into different times, preferably different days.
PB before bed is good (I'd want a bit more than that, though), but whey absorbs too quickly. Better to get some casein.
I'm not so sure about creatine during cutting, although it is a good way to keep strength up.

As long as it's working, I don't see any reason to change it. However, if you want advice on tweaks, instead of potatoes or rice, I'd go for something with a lower GI, like fiberous veggies or Tabbouleh (I am addicted to this stuff - not as funky as it sounds), maybe whole wheat toast, beans or at least brown/wild rice.
Also make sure you're getting in enough EFAs. The peanut butter is the only good fat you're getting right now. Drop in some nuts or avocados or olives or salmon or flax/Udo's oil. It will definitely help.
Since you're not trying to increase lifts, you can drop the creatine if you want. It will also help you to lose some of the bloat and make you look leaner.
That's my $0.02 anyway. You gonna run on a CKD later on?

if this is your first cut, take it SLOW. it took me a few cycles to learn to cut without losing a large portion of my gains. keep it up if it's working, but don't overdo the cardio or cut your calories too much too fast.
a thermo will speed up your cut quite a bit and intensify your workouts. i suggest substituting that for the creatine.
hey naxis, what's Tabbouleh?

It's a middle-eastern dish made with cracked wheat, mint, tomatoes, lemon and spices. It's like a rice side dish thing. Got a box of it at my grocery store and looooved it. Not to everyone's taste, but it's good for variety. I have some with almost every post workout meal. (Also spelled Tabouli).

What's "thermo"? How is it used as a substitue for creatine?

Mmm, Tabbouleh! You and me both, Naxis! :) I have been addicted to tabbouleh and hummus for a long time now. Both are quite nutritious. Hummus has a bit of fat, but is very low in saturated fat due to the olive oil and beans.

awesome... im going to use some kind of thermogenic here... perhaps some ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin since i have a boatload of it just sitting here. i also heard that it is best used when you take smaller doses throughout the day. i was also looking at hot-rox. don't know much about it. i'll check on the brown/wild rice and definitely put flax oil in all of my shakes (don't know how i overlooked that little tidbit:)) anyway i hate green veggies... HATE THEM. I know i should eat them but i have tried many many times to no avail, i just get sick thinking about them. is there any sub for this (i do use fiber supps in case you were wondering)? lemme know all you faithful lifters!!!

NO flax oil in post workout shakes though. You want that to absorb quickly.
Hot-Rox sounds like all marketing. Have heard no praise about it so far. Search for Thermorexin. I really like it (of the non-ephedra "thermo" products). ECA stacks are superior imho, though. *This is not a recommendation to take ephedra. ;) * Maybe cycle them to prevent burnout. It is better to take small doses all day (I aim for 3x a day). Keeps you from going into peaks and crashes.
Also, adding fiber to shakes or just supplementing is fine, though you're missing out on the vitamin content. *cough*veggies are still better*cough* Spinach salads maybe?
