it never ends

I may be the only person on the planet who keeps my MRI's in my van. I see so many doctors, I don't want to forget them at home. So here I am driving around with $30,000 worth of films in the back, strapped on top of the dog's kennel. I didn't think it was weird until today, suddenly, I thought.... what have I become???

Yikes! Be careful with those films, though. I left a set in my car one day during the summer and they kind of "melted" together. Of course not everyone lives in Arizona! (Oh... but it's a "dry" heat!)

I don't know if this would be considered unusual. But, about 8 years ago I started keeping a pain diary. My husband was initially really upset by it. He thought I was focusing way too much on my pain and it was making me worse. But, it really helped me put things in objective terms. When I worked full time I was in a management position and the person I learned from always told me document, document and document some more. This ensured I always had to go back to if I reached a verbal agreement with someone. (There were always some people I dealt with inevitably didn't follow through on their end, and the documentation saved me a couple of times.) Anyway sorry to digress; but it was like second nature for me to write things down -- conversations with Doctors, etc. I have to say it has helped me more than a few times. Also, I could really see times when my life when my pain and condition were relatively managed. I guess I'm that way about everything though .. you wouldn't believe my kids "growng up" books! :bouncing:
