hi. :)
When i was young, i used to have straight hair..... but when i reached around 11 years old, my hair suddenly became wavy (n very dry coz probably due to my poor diet then...)!!! I dun understand y my hair type can change from straight to wavy?? Is it true tt this type of phenomenon does occur when one is growing up???
Hope someone can advise.... Thanks so much :)

The same thing happened to me. I'm not exactly sure why but I'm thinking it was something to do with the hormonal changes. I still wish I could go back to the days when I had healthy, straight hair.

Hi ZZ
Interesting........
My hair was thick and straight when I was young. I even have tons of pictures to prove it! ;)
When I had my first child, it got really wavy. It was strange. Stranger still, when I had my other children, it is almost uncontrollably curly. My mother often just looks at my hair in amazement and swears that I keep getting perms. I have had several cosmetologists tell me that it is not uncommon for hair to curl or even get straighter when going through "hormonal" changes....puberty, pregnancy, and menopause.

Same here, when i was a kid i had straight hair. I hit 11 and it curled right up and stayed that way until i turned about 20. Now it is back to straight. Must be hormones.

Yup, my hair did the same thing, and I would love to have my straight hair back simply becuase it's easier to manage and it didn't look as dry!

Yeah my hair used to be straight also. It was also very healthy and soft too. Now it seems to be dry for no apparent reason. I guess it must be some hormonal change because I also got acne that just won't go away!!!! I hate it.
