I bought the videos they advertised on TV, plus the abs, buns & thighs, upper body & body slimming and spent close to 90 bucks. I do pilates about 3-4 times a week and I usually do the 20 min workout plus one or two of the specialized tapes. I LOVE the tapes-they really give you a great workout and a lot of energy. I swear by them, as long as you stick w/ it it will work for you.

Hi. I am not doing winsor pilates but i am using Pilates for dummies ( Bought it at bed bath beyond gfor ten bucks) and i have been doing ot 5 days a week for the last month and i love it. i am also starting to see results. But with any thing you do for toning, you must be consistant with it. i use to hate getting up in the morning none the less to exercise  boring!!! But now it its the bomb because it is not straining and i feel my muscle contracting during the course of the day! I kbow that it is a gradual process and it will not happen over night but be constant and the time will fly by and your POWERHOUSE will be saying hello to you in no time!!!

Hope this helps.

Tallgirl,

My wife did Pilates and loved it. She lost 5 lbs doing it for 6 weeks.

But she is also doing my Power 90 with me now...

- check out www.mybeachbody.com/kraken for my before and after photos -

...and she's lost another 10 lbs and 3 inches from her hips and 4 inches off her waist (in just 60 days)

The Power 90 program uses a lot of moves from pilates, but incorporates a lot of other moves as well (Tae Bo, Kenpo, Power Yoga, etc...) in one workout. You workout for 90 days, 6 days a week. 3 days of sculpt (about 30 minutes) and 3 days of cardio (about 40 minutes) with an ab workout.

It's easy to follow, and you will see amazing results if you stick to it!

Take care, and good luck!!

Slim in 6 is made by the same people. I don't own it... so I haven't tried it yet. But I chatted with a lot of people in the beachbody chat room that have and it seems to work well for them.

Personally, I like power 90, becuase Si6 you have to workout 50 minutes a day... where power 90 is only a 30 to 45 minute workout depending on if you're doing sculpt or cardio that day (the 45 minute workout also includes an ab workout).

But I think either program is probably good. I just can't personally recommend Si6 because I haven't tried it.

I also know people that did Power 90 and lost a lot of weight, and THEN Si6 to finish off their weight loss goal (this helps keep things fresh , and your body from getting used to the workouts).

Later on,

I've been doing Windsor Pilates for about 4 weeks. I haven't lost weight or noticed any difference in my clothes but just the other day my husband mentioned that my thighs looked a little slimmer.

Hi all  i have been doing the pilates for dummies for 5 weeks religoiusly (5 days a week). i have gone down from a 13/14 to a 11/12. i also have changed my eating habits from 3 months ago. i went from a 171 and now i am 154. Yeah me!!! :bouncing: i have lost alot of body fat. which i really only had by my stomach. i am a thick girl and i have thighs an serious hips. But Continue to do the pilates. You will see results but you have to be consistant. But i dont mind because it is fun and it is quick you are done in less than a half hour.
Best of luck!! :D
