View Full Version : No-water shampoo? Cornstarch?

Hey...I'm camping out tomorrow night for tickets to see one of my favorite shows (RENT, in case you cared) and won't have access to a shower before the show. Has anyone used Psssst or any other shampoo that doesn't require water? I'll only have 2 hours between the time I buy the tickets and the time the show starts - in there I have to eat, change, and do my hair/makeup. I've done it before, but I've gotta say that having greasy hair at a theater isn't so much fun. Any experiences with it? Or with cornstarch?

I don't wash my hair every day...only every other day or even 2. I have brown hair with blond highlights. And I use Baby Powder when I see it is getting greasy and limp. I just dump some on the top and bend over and shake it out and comb it through. It makes my hair look clean and refreshed. But I wouldn't recommend it on darker hair. You might see the powder. I have tried cornstarch and baking soda and didn't like those because they felt heavy and left a lot on my scalp.

I've also used baby powder...it does help take away the oily look and feel. I have med/dark brown hair. I lean over and sprinkle it on the under side of my hair than work it through to the scalp. Then brush it out. I used Pssssst in high school...years ago...it worked pretty good. Do they still make it?
