I have an 11 yr old son and I have recently noticed that his penis seems to shrink back into his body(sorry, can't think of any other way to explain this!). It is that way all the time. He has not complained of pain or anything, but something tells me that this is not right. Any ideas?

Hi there!
IMHO, I would call the pediatrician and ask them about it. Not neccesarily make an appointment but ask them your questions. They would know best over all others.
Give them a call if you're really that concerned. Might be something to it???

Hi! He is 11 and about 90 lbs. He seems to me to be about average. He had his tonsils out a few years ago and has gained some weight since then, but even when he was skinny he has had this. He is at that age where things like this could be embarrassing(spell?) for him and I just don't want to put him through that if not necessary. But I don't want to ignore it either. Just thought I would check to see if anyone else has had this problem before we go the the doctor. Thanks!

HI,
A friend of mine's 2 boys have the same prob. It is almost like the circumcision was not done correclty. Too much foreskin left behind. Her doc says that it is ok. It might be "ok", but my friend's kid noticed that my son's penis was different. They are only 4 and sometimes go to the bathroom together at school. So you might want to consult your doc, just so your son is not embarrased.
