Just wanted to say hi.

I have just been discharged by my ENT man, who is happy enough with my progress to not want to see me again. I am much much much better, no dizzies anymore - been that way for a few weeks now. Feel lightheaded on occasions or a bit off now and then, all things in his words which are "at the tail end". He expects me to be 100% in a month or so and to continue with the VRT until then. Official diagnosis was Vestibular Neuritis of viral origin??? and it has a tendency to "linger" and gradually disappear - thank God for that.

MRI results were completely normal - phew!!

Now I just want to get on with my life.

Hope everyone is ok and just wanted to say thanks for all your advice and help.

Great news Lizzy - doesn't it feel wonderful! I also think I came off lightly with BPPV - 100% all the time, except for some mild sensations when I lie down or sit up in bed, or looking up for too long - not spins just some 'headiness'. Wish the same for everyone here.

I also wish a speedy recovery to everyone on the boards. Dont know what I'd have done without it, comparing symptoms with people like Willsmom and Emsybobs was a lifesaver, I wasnt going mad after all!! Subs, too - thanks.
