My ear wax has always been moist, have a red/orange color, and hvae a bitter smell.

My friends wax are always dry, and I think yellow.....

so is this normal(for me)?

I think it runs the color gamut (but it's ALWAYS bitter.) Mine used to be gold and soft and had to be scooped out with a cue-tip. But lately I get an itch and shake my head and out falls a gray clinker! :D:D

If your ear canal seems sore, have a doc take a peek. That bit of red might be a little blood...nothing to worry about though.
