I have just today been told I need to have a defibullator put in. I was so stunned at the time, I did not ask what the procedure would be. Does it require an overnight stay in the hospital or as an out patient? Any information would help me. Thank you.

I do not have a defib. however I do know of others who do. It seems that the procedure is done as an outpatient, on occassion, a night in the hospital is neccessary. It is not open heart surgery, which I am sure you know. Could I ask why you need one?

Good luck

Abby
