I have had muscle pain in my lower legs for about 4 years.
My legs constantly hurt and feel tight. It gets worse when i have to stand or walk for more than a couple minutes - but the pain is always there.

The doc diagnosed me with chronic compartment syndrome. This is pain in the lower legs that is exercise induced. The diagnosis fits: i used to be a collegiate soccer player, had high pressure levels in my leg muscles, and i had a herniated muscle in my lower leg. So, I had the recommended surgery (fasciotomy) but with no success. I am still having constant pain.

Anyone else have chronic compartment syndrome or even ever heard of it? Know any treatments?
Anyone else have muscle pain in lower legs, but with a different diagnosis??
I would appreciate any insights. I had to switch dr's due to insurance changes and this one doesnt have a clue! help!
