i've been lifting weights consistently since February most of the time it's three to five days a week ..
the last two weeks i haven't been able to lift weights at all because i had my wisdom teeth taken out, well didn't heal right away and of course medications like prednisone and antibiotics for infection and swelling...
last couple of days i've been hurting, my bones actually hurt, my muscles feel really soft but i feel like crud and i'm wondering if that's normal once you get to where it's a part of your life and you suddenly stop doing it.
I noticed i've lost five pounds (on the scale) from not being able to eat as much.
anyone stop lifting weights or working out for a few weeks and just feel like crud ?? joint and bone stiffness? I don't feel sick or anything other than recovering from the teeth pulling but i did manage to lift very light one day and was sore WAY longer for like three days afterward LOL

Hi, I'm not sure that being how you described is normal. I would think you would feel strong. Maybe you should go to the doctor..just my opinion.

Actually i've felt very strong and very good right up until i had the teeth removed. I've been waiting till i'm completely healed before i start lifting again.
When i flex the muscles you can feel they're still solid. Just don't feel as good or have the energy I usually have When i'm lifting five days a week.
Which goes back to the original question, when you works out consistently and then suddenly don't for weeks, is it normal to feel crappy ? I'm thinking some of it has to do with diet and calories because the extraction sites are still open i can't eat anything that requires major chewing lol

That is probably a possibility. Calories, and not exercising stopping all at once could probably cause that. Once you are back into the swing of things everything should be okay. Hope all goes well with your teeth! :)

Thanks i appreciate that, one stupid hole didn't "clot" completely or i spit part of the clot out and it doesn't want to heal, until it closes it hurts like hell lol
thought it was the stiches at first.they took out 4 wisdom teeth and the two farthest back molars  it sucks lol

This is perfectly normal. I have had two knee surgeries and I can tell when I am not working out. The knees seem to stay sore when I have taken time off from the gym. My attitude is also affected. When I work out I feel good and just overall happier. I believe part of that is due to my diet. When I work out I eat better and don't drink as much. When I have quit working out for a while my diet sucks and I definately do not feel right.
