Has anyone heard of being prescribed remicade for back pain? From the little bit of research that I have done the drug is prescribed for people with rheumetoid arthritis and chrons disease. What kind of doc would I go to to get this? My PM Doc did not know what I was talking about.

Hi! I heard recently that the FDA approved remicade for sciatic nerve pain. I have not used it and I don't know anyone else who has either, but it would be interesting to find out. Sorry that I cannot be more help.

Thanks so much!!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif I have fibromylagia and see a rheumatologist. He's also a real neat guy about trying innovative type treatments. I see him this week. With Remicade being FDA approved for sciatica, I think he'll probably GO FOR IT with me.
Would anyone know where I could get more info about the FDA approval?
