I have a doctor's appt. next week and was just wondering what kind of treatments the doctor might do. Greetings, I also have (had)plantar fascitis.I was given a pair of lifts to put in my shoes. These have helped alot They were a little pricy but wroth every penny.I do have to wear good shoes.I don;t wear sandals or fancy shoes.I'd rather be pain free that wear shoes that bother my feet. Hope this has helped.Only have surgrie as a last resort..Take care and good Luck Motherearth :bouncing:   jojo64 06-25-2004, 12:53 PM Treatments include orthodics, wraps, stretching exercises, injections, and surgery. KIDINSANITY 07-09-2004, 08:43 AM There are also night splints that you wear in bed at night. They keep the foot in a neutral position, while softly stretching the tendons. When I wear mine like I'm supposed to, they seem to help, but they are bulky under the sheets, so I tend not to wear them as often as I should. |
