a couple months ago I gounf a tick on my pubic region. Presently, the rash is still there and is a purpleish color. I haven't felt any different whatsoever. Why is the rash still there? How do I get rid of it?

Tanker, how did you remove the tick? Does the rash look like a bullseye? If possible, get a photo of the rash for documenation. Only about 50% of people who have Lyme ever get a rash. Although a bullseye rash is a definite sign of Lyme, there are other types of Lyme rashes.
