How is your treatment going? Are you still fighting the muscles, or have they surrendered yet?

I read a post where you talked about your dentist doing a great job and that there was enough room for the disc to go back.....but, if it doesn't that's o.k.? I am concerned about going through all this treatment and still having a displaced disc.....but since I'm almost 50, I've had a bad bite for a long time and the joint is not going to heal overnight :(

How long have you been in your current splint therapy? When are you starting phase II? I've been in my splint for 4 months. my doctor uses the same treatment that yours uses. What exactly does your splint look like? Mine is a wire with splint material on both sides of the lower jaw. My doctor is repositiioning my bite and bringing me forward. When he is done, I'll have some crowns/bridges to hold the new bite in position. Are you having good results GenDen? I found a good massage therapist and chiropractor to help me through the treatment.

It helps to hear from people that are having good results. I hope you read this post, as I haven't seen you on here in a while.
