Lately my left foot becomes rather numb or "falls asleep" after 7-10 minutes of continuous or near-continuous walking. It's annoying but not painful, and the numbness goes away within a few minutes after I sit down. The right foot is not affected. (I don't know if this has any relevance, but I think -- far from "sure" -- that the left foot is the one where I had a cortisone injection about eight years ago that pretty much remedied some recurrent heel spur pain.)
Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation, or can anyone offer advice on possible causes and remedies of my walking-induced left foot numbness?
Thanks in advance.
Rick

Could possibly be a bulging disc. I have the same problem and have had disc (disk?) problems for some time now.

Thanks for response. I'll look into that.
