jj4465 06-29-2004, 10:32 PM hey, i was just wondering if there are any 0 calorie foods out there? Like foods you can munch on, not like mustard or anything lol. I was just curious...THANKS Sponsor girlygirl11 06-30-2004, 12:39 AM I know Celery is one- its either 0 Cals or just such a tiny amount it doesnt matter..a lot of theories say that it is a negative calorie food- takes more energy to digest it than is actually in it. Most veggies are like that as well (ie/ red peppers). Some have a FEW cals, but still are VERY little. modert 06-30-2004, 02:07 AM Most raw vegetable, salad-type foods are hardly worth counting at all... lettuce, cucumbers, radishes, celery, spinach, etc. A great cooked vegetable is spaghetti squash - you can eat it like pasta and its only about 50 calories per cup. You could chow down on crushed ice or ice cubes - they offer hydration and are truly calorie free :D zip2play 06-30-2004, 10:16 AM Of course diet sodas, tea, black coffee! joquiero 07-01-2004, 10:40 AM A great cooked vegetable is spaghetti squash - you can eat it like pasta and its only about 50 calories per cup. :D spaghetti squash - is that like regular squash?? modert 07-01-2004, 12:24 PM Spaghetti Squash is a gourd-like squash that when prepared correctly, shreds into long strings, resembling spraghetti. It is very mild tasting and is wonderful served all the ways you would serve pasta - with tomato sauce, grated cheese, or even just some olive oil and garlic. Do a google search on "spaghetti squash". Jessicca 07-04-2004, 12:37 AM Nothing too good! LOL |
