Well only two more days and I will be seeing the new specialist and I CAN'T WAIT!! I already know he will be better than the last guy I saw!!! everyone at the office was soooo nice when I called. I recieved all the paperwork in the mail yesterday and have to fill out about 13 pages worth of info. There was also ALOT of info on the doctor and a cassette of a radio interview he did. He has also been to very poor parts of the world to help people at no cost. The woman I spoke to at the office said they would help me with filing everything for the insurance etc. it also explained the first visit which is about three hours long and I will get x-rays, mri, etc. so everything "SOUNDS" good!! wish me luck!! hopefully something will go right for me SOON!!

WOW, the doctor just called me himself and said he likes to call his patients before the first time they see him so they feel more comfortable when they get there!! :) that was really nice, he asked me if I had any questions and I just told him I'm really looking foward to seeing him...this sounds promising!!

Oh Raquel, this guys sounds really good. I have found that a pretty good way to judge the doctor/dentist is by the help in their office. The employees tend to follow the lead of the person they work for. If the doctor/dentist is nasty with a stinky disposition then most usually his help will also be but if the doctor/dentist is nice and conscientious then his staff usually is as well. So, the fact that his office help was so nice would lead me to believe that he is also. He probably treats people right and expects his staff to treat people right as well. I know it's that way at my orthodontists office. It really makes a difference. I wish you the best of luck and do let us know how it goes ok.

I hope that your visit turns out the way you want. Whether or not we want to believe it, a doctor and staff who pays attention to us and our pain makes a difference....Good Luck with your new specialist...and let us know how it goes. :)
