Hi Ronald,

I am doing Ok.. Still feeling the pain. I can surely tell you when we are getting bad weather, my foot hurts quite a bit.

I am going for physio next week and will see the Dr in August. I still feel the nerve should have been removed. Otherwise, I am dealing with it and enjoying my summer. Still been walking and a little running on the beach.

I am off to NY for the weekend.

How are you doing? have you made any decisions yet? I think you should wait until after the summer and besides you are still on your honeymoon!!

take care and will keep you updated.

Happy July 4th All !!!!!

Hi CJ,

I'm going to a new podiatrist in a couple of weeks, since my old one bailed. So I'll get his opinion. I have a feeling he'll want to do cortisone injection, which I just might want to try to see if it helps at all.

Yes, you are right, I plan on waiting until at least the fall if I'm going to have surgery to remove the problem (which I'm still not sure it has been diagnosed yet).

Glad to hear from you. (I guess I got my account back.)

Hi Ronald,

Glad to hear that you are going to a new Dr. Be careful with the injection. Only do one and wait a while to see what happens. I personally would not do any of them.

You really have to becareful on the diagnosis. Some of these foot problems all have the same symptoms. Monitor your pain and write it down if you have to. Make sure the Dr. rules out all possibilities.

I could have had a Metatarsal Osteotomy surgery if I did not listen to another Dr. and I was almost convinced......

My light patch on my foot is just starting to disappear.

take care and keep in touch!!

Hi CJ,
Yes, I plan on waiting and seeing what will happen with one. I read a study that said if one doesn't work, odds are the next one will work either.

I talked to a friend of mine the other day, he had a neuroma a couple years ago. His pod, gave him cortizone a coule times. He said his foot felt much better and feels fine now. He said once in a while it will hurt some.

I went to Monterey with my wife over the weekend. My foot hurt but it felt nice letting it soak in the nice cold ocean water.

How have you've been doing?

Hey Ronald,

How are you? Have you had the injection yet? Take your time and make sure your pod injects you in the right spot..

I am doing ok, enjoying my summer and renovating my house. I am off to Brazil in a few weeks.. Bermuda is really hot these days. I have been going to the beach and soaking my foot in the water. It feels great when the current pulls back against my foot, the feeling that something is being drawn out!!!

I have been doing P/T twice a week, it is painful but she is focusing on the scar tissue and my foot is really stiff. I have been getting ultra sound and laser on the scar area. I still have to keep my foot out of the sun as well, as the scar will end up being very dark. Still not much feeling in the small toe. The pain comes and goes, like to today it is really bad, it has been bad since yesterday. I will go for P/T tmorrow and I will see the Dr. on the 27th Jul.

Otherwise I am doing good!!

take care and let me know when you have the injection. ;)

Hey CJ,
Have fun in Brazil! I'll let you know what I decide, I'm still on the sidelines.

You've been very nice to me and I appreciate that. Have fun on your vacation. Let me know how it goes.

Ron

Hey Ronald,

Thanks for also being a listening ear for me as well. I hope that you will find some relief soon and do as much research as you can.. Any questions I am here for you, just ask away..

Just back from my PT today. I have been having a bit of numbness and tingling feeling. My PT has been taping on my incision because it has been too sensitive. So she has been trying to make it a bit tough. I think the taping has been to much so I have had a bit of tingling and numbness at night. Right now I am just icing and getting ultra sound and lazer treatments...

Have a great summer and I will speak to you soon. I leave on the 31st back on the 7th Aug. Will be in the US for 1 day..

talk soon.
Chantel.
