Hey all,

Just wanted to ask before I took action....my friend has some questions about CP and life with CP. She is a pre-teen, but cannot tell you/will not tell you her exact age for security reasons. I was wondering if you would mind helping me answer some of her questions in terms that she would understand. I'm not quite sure if she will register yet, but wanted to get your input in case she does choose to.

So, would you guys mind helping me out if she does show up with questions?

Thanks in Advance!
Sassy Sweetie

I'll help in whatever way I can. If your friend's age is a concern perhaps you could post questions for her and then let her read responses.

Answering any question from a child shouldn't be a problem. The best teaching aid to CP is to expose the child to people with all kinds of disabilities. They should learn that people are all different, but we all share things too. Let children be children as long as they can. There is no reason to be scary or secretive... Natural curiosity is a good thing :)

Yeah sure, I'd be glad to help.

I wish I found this forum when I was a pre-teen!

Thankfully I did...I'm 14 now.
