Hi to all I sit here doing nothing right now took the dog on a walk am the only one here right now rest of the family are on vacation to south Padre Island I was their about three weeks ago and it was so nice to be at the ocean and hear the waves walking up and down the beach picking up shells very relaxing.I know that my sister and her family have to go on their family vacation but really wanted to go my other sister her kids and husband also went along with my mother. They are due back saturday said before dinner time they left Tuesday they called me to let me know that they had made it their safe and sound. I did expect them to call me and let me know that things are going ok with them and
mother being that she has been real sick and we did not know if she was even going to be able to go seems like I am the one that always dose the calling to find out how things are going.Want to see if they are going to call me tonight or tomorrow or at all.Get the feeling that they will not call me tile Saturday to tell me that they are on the road which is find but they could call and let me know how their trip is going so far am I expecting to much? If only I could win the lotto I would go up their and spend a good while up their rent a chep hotel room right on the beach their are some nice ones that do not coast much. Have a great week

It sounds like you're kinda insecure where your family is concerned. You need reassurance. Yeh, I kinda think you're expecting a little bit too much. Maybe you should put a little more focus on expanding your own circle of friends and activities that don't involve your family. Branch out! :D

If this has been any kind of a chronic thing with you, your family might be getting a little bit annoyed by it. Lighten up a little, don't worry so much, and stop looking for upsets. Your perspective might just need a little tweaking. Be willing to look at that. You could be causing yourself upset for no good reason.

Hello Kay...

Just think of it this way...

Maybe they are busy having fun (which is good for them right?)....

I know it hurts when the ppl you love are out having a great time, and you are just ... "chillin"...

But that is just the way the cheese is sliced :D

Its all good, cause you time WILL come again right? Do you call them when you are having a blast? Just curious...
