Hey,

Im just wondering if anyone know's the answer to this.

Well anyways, I have been searching around and reading many articles and a lot of them say Tea is good for your oral health. Such as teeth and many other things. But how can Tea be good for your teeth and gums if you usually add Milk and 2 scoops of sugar?

I tried drinking the Tea without sugar and it taste so bad. I tried 1 scoop of sugar and It was fine. But also 1 tea spoon of sugar is too much usually because I only drink water.

Should I discontinue drinking tea before bedtime (night-time) or by still adding the 1 scoop of sugar is the tea still doing a good affect on me. I know a far amount of sugar is good because it helps your body internally, but orally?

Please do leave your comments, im interested in your opinions.

Hi,

Tea is great for many things and good oral health is one of them. It's not a replacement for good oral hygiene, though.

Shouldn't be a problem to eat or drink anything before bedtime as long as you brush your teeth after doing so...

Cavities are usually created by non-brushing and during the times when the mouth isn't producing saliva (during sleep when it has such a long time to work at it).

If you're not wanting to use sugar, try honey...it gives tea a nice taste and you won't have to use as much. Also, lemon with sugar or honey is good too. I like sugar in the raw. Stevia is a natural sugar replacement that seems to selling well.

If you're exploring tea at this time...there are flavoured teas such as blackberry, strawberry, green, vanilla...etc.

Enjoy!
