I am new to the healthboards. What a great place! I did a search and couldn't find any info on this problem. My husband had a stroke in March and has had significant weight loss. He is well physically but has a lot of memory problems and finds it difficult to put his thoughts into words. One thing we haven't been able to figure out is that he can't taste anymore. He says that everything tastes the same and it isn't good. Has anyone else had any experience with this? Has anyone any idea what to do about it? I have tried adding spices to see if that would help but no luck. It is hard to get him to eat when it nothing tastes good anymore. Anything that anyone can suggest would be much appreciated.
