View Full Version : Anyone had the Enteryx Treatment for Gerd?

I was wondering if anyone has had the Enteryx treatment for GERD. Apparently a liquid like substance is injected into the lower esophagus and forms into sponge-like material that is supposed to strengthen the LES to prevent acid from coming back up. They say it is done on an outpatient basis in about 30 minutes.

Was wondering if it worked and if there are any side effects. They say that in most cases, the patient may be able to reduce acid blocker medication or stop it entirely.

Please reply if you know anything about this procedure. It sounds like a wonderful thing if it works!
