I have a question hopefully someone could help me wit. I have a chest disorder in which my chest curves in which leaves a dent in my chest. I dont mind it so i never bothered goin to a doctor to find out wat it is and i *** scared shitless of em. Always afraid of bad news. Heh. Anyways im curious now to find out wat it is called so i can do some research on it to see wat exactly causes it. Ur born wit it so its safe to assume its genetic. Plz Help!!!

Hi! This same question was asked on this board in late June. The thread name is Dip in Chest. What you are referring to is called pectus excavatum. It is the descriptive term for an abnormal formation of the rib cage, in which the distance from the sternum to the backbone is decreased, making the chest look caved-in or sunken. It is a congenital abnormality. I also have this condition. It was confirmed during a chest xray. Hope this helps. :wave:
