Hello again
I went to the Dr. last night for a post op and he perscribed a compressive hose. I have major swelling from the surgery and not to mention the infection. As soon as my foot hits the floor in the morning my foot and leg swells right up.So by pm I'm in big trouble I cant even bend my foot or toes at all. My foot and leg looks like something out of a freak show. Anyone ever wear one of these and does it help?

Sue, I have started wearing a comprssive hose to help the swelling in my leg after all the surgery I have had. Mine came by as recommendation from PT. I wear a knee-high hose on the one leg. It does help, but the key is to get the correct size and tension. Also it is recommended you put it on first thing in the morning and wear it until bedtime. It is inconvenient at times, but my ankle feels so much better w/out all that swelling, besides at night when I talke the stocking off, it looks great! Best Wishes - eko
