Sup. That sounds more like cubital tunnel surgery (a.k.a. ulnar nerve entrapment) to me if its in the elbow, ring & pinky fingers. Carpal tunnel usually effects the thumbs, wrists & middle & index finger mainly. Any way, i havent gone to get diagnosed but my symptoms really suck! Sore, tingling pinky, hand thumbs, wrist, elbow, kneck e.t.c It's too bad always, just when im really tired, but weakness is apparent too.... I hate it! I hope we all heal as soon as possible & get back to normal, happy lives. Peace & good luck fellas.

Just had an EMG a week ago. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but read someone's account of it here in the boards. It really was not a bad thing to have done at all. I thought the entire process was interesting. I could here the "electricity" pulsing through my muscles on a speaker hooked up to the doctor's equipment.

I had the same symptoms and had an EMG. The doc said the pinkie and ring finger numbness/tingling is from a pinched ulnar nerve which runs through the elbow. When you whack your funny bone, that's basically what your hitting.

Not sure if this helped.
