Hey there,
I was wondering if anyone else has/is experienced this:
I had a double bunionectomy 6 months ago and my big right toe still has a half-way numb sensation. Not totally numb, but it is somewhat numb and tingly. Has anyone else had this? Did it eventually go away?
Thanks!

My doctor tells me that it is normal for the big toe to remain numb for up to 8 months after a bunionectomy, but that sensation almost always returns after this point or before.
My toe is numb all around, but I'm only 2 weeks postop on a single foot. How long did it take your left toe to regain sensation? I'm wondering what the range of times are...I would like not to have to wait a full 8 months.

Hi! I got most of my feeling back after about 5 months. However, there are still a couple of spots, especially along the scar, that are numb.
