Anything that goes in the cuisinaire that is well cooked...
soups, yogurts, oatmeal, cream of wheat, jello, pudding, juices, smoothies, mashed potatoes (baked potatoes just smushed a little), fish fillets, spaghetti, eggs, chili, lasagna, casseroles, soft meatloaf, cottage cheese, gelatin salad with finely chopped fruit, peanut butter if that isn't too hard to swallow (depends on which muscles hurt)...ensure or something like that if you aren't getting enough nutrients, you can add gelatin or milk to stuff to add protein
Can you tell I've been doing this TOO LONG?

Some thicker fruit smoothies?? My Wheat Thin days are over :( I love my crackers too, and tortilla chips.

Scrambled eggs with vegetables is a favorite of mine. You can also find processed foods (yuck, but emergencies call for strange measures) like LEAN CUISINE foods that are very soft, e.g., meatballs and pasta, being food you can really break apart with your tongue.
Wine is good! ;)

Small pasta (orzo-type) with sauce.
I love pasta. No carb diets don't work for TMJD'ers. Too crunchy. I bought a cheapo food processor and make chopped salads. It shreds the lettuce real fine, then I add shredded soft fresh veggies (cukes, tomatoes) fresh basil, chopped olives, everything chopped up fine and shake it up with some balsamic dressing. I can't eat much of it, but I do miss veggies that aren't cooked to death.

Yes, I meant to say in an earlier post that scrambled eggs with vegies requires that you boil the vegies until they are very soft. I use the frozen box of mixed vegetables since they soften very easily. In the good old days, I would eat baby carrots RAW for lunch with lettuce and trail mix (full of hard nuts). If I could go back in time, I would be screaming at myself to stop! Sure, I was slender but who cares at this point?
Oh, another item I eat at times is Cambells Chunky soups, e.g., split pea and Navy Beans. Both are very soft. The Navy Bean has bits of ham but I often don't eat them. Of course, Navy Bean soup has its disadvantages in the digestive system (no one lights a match around me).
