I am the mother of a 12 year-old son with ADD. He has been on Adderall since he was diagnosed in the second grade. In the past year, his family MD wanted to try Strattera, which was useless. Then he was prescribed Concerta and that was not as effective as the Adderall. Finally the FMD put him back on the Adderall and his life changed.

Because of my lack of confidence with the FMD, I made an appointment with the Psychiatrist the originionally prescribed the Adderall. He increased the dosage of Adderall and introduced Strattera.

After 6 months of Adderall/Stratter it is like living with Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde. He is great and wonderful in the morning, by afternoon he is spitting daggers at myself and his sister. I am wondering if anyone has had a simular experience with this combination of drug therapy? Mind you, up until the last 3 weeks it has been great.

Thank You,
