For the past few nights I've been getting a bad headache around 10:30 - 11:30 at night, and I don't know why. It was so intense last night that I was in tears while trying to endure it and talk to my boyfriend on the phone.

Should I be concerned, or should I just pile some Bayer into myself every night?

I'm not trying to get to personal but are you on birth control? I was on the shot and it was going good on the shot for about 6 monthsand them BOOM!!! I started getting hit with severe head aches left and right. I kind blew it off because I felt safer being on the shot then the pill. I concieved my daughter while on the pill. But my headaches got to the point where I could not tolereate them anymore after 2 years. I didn't want to have to take Motrin everyday. I would go for days witout taking anything because I didn't want my body to get so ammuned to the Motrin that it wouldn't work anymore. I went off the shot about 6 months ago. Back on pill but just praying the same thing doesn't happen again. Also allergies and sinus problems can cause you
to have really bad headaches. Stress plays a big role in headaches also.

Oh don't worry about getting too personal; I don't mind ^-^ . But no I'm not on birth control, or any medication for that matter, nor am I under a lot of stress, if any at all.

But lately I've been going to bed late and waking up early, getting around 5 hours of sleep, but I feel totally charged in the morning. Could my shortened periods of sleep be contributing to my headaches?

are you drinking enough fluids...preferably water?? because that can cause bad headaches. or have you been constipated at all recently?? these are both common causes of headaches. also have u had any nausea?

Oh yes, definitely lots of fluids, mainly water (I think I drink more than I eat). Haven't been constipated or nautious either. Besides my nightly headache, I've been totally healthy.

..........

Dark Stranger - is experiencing the headache later than usual tonight (12:22 a.m.)
