I went to an ent for a 2nd opinion today regarding a sinus problem: whatever it is i can smell and taste it, which in a sense affects my taste and smell. I've had it since 1997, and went last year to an ent. The ent that I still am currently seeing did endoscopic surgery to open the right side of my sinuses and took out a cyst back in November. Since the surgery it has not improved. So, the end I saw today decided that there is nothing wrong with my sinuses and that i must have a brain abnormality :rolleyes: (something with the olfactory part?) and that no one can do a thing about it and I must live with it. sorry but i dont buy it. I would think if I had an "abnormality" it would have show up on a brain ct scan that I had in November for migraines. Just wondering if anyone has the same thing that I have?
