hi guys ive been a computer user for about 4 years (complusive user) and my hands are at the point of falling off :p

anyway to elaborate. ive always known ive had wrist and hands problems mainly because after the last 18 months they can often throb like crazy and the doctor has never prescribed me anything.

im at the point now where my hands keep me awake at night because of the pain and it has woken me up tonight because im feeling a nasty shooting pain going through the side of my arm. ive been recommended by my family to take a long break away from computers to give them a rest, but is there anything i can do at the moment to ease the pain? Im on propranolol for a heart murmer so im not sure if i can take vitamins alongside these tablets.

Any suggestions would be greatly greatly appreciated!!

thank you :)

I don't know if this will help you, but my doctor has done the same thing by not giving me a solution. He told me to wear a wrist brace when I do the activities that aggravate my wrist. Hope this helps!

that is also what my doctor told me. and also to wear them at night when sleeping. have you considered CTS release? more than likely you have CTS, and the surgery works wonders. you should look into it.
