I have had visual blur, eye redness, and sometimes dull pain behind eyes, with eye focusing problems. The Opthamologist says my eyes are completely healthy. I have had inner ear pressure and sometimes pain inside the ear as well as behind it. Has anybody had these problems or knows what is going on? I have a ENT appt next week, but need some answers to calm myself.

Check out TMJ, it can cause ear probs, eye probs, jaw, throat etc. There are a ton of symptoms that you would not think were coming from your jaw joint, but the eyes are definitely affected from TMJ. I had that too, plus the ear probs.

I would agree with the above, tmjd is definitely a possiblity, although this could also possibly be caused by migraine.

best,

I have a similar problem, lots of visual problems and pain in my ear, ear fullness, which comes every now and again. Diagnosis for me was vesitbular neuritisis..., but its worth getting the other options checked out.

Hi,

I have disequilibrium problems, and for a long time my eyes gave me some visual problems as well as looked "dull" and on the verge of going bloodshot, especially when I was feeling particularly drained from dealing with my symptoms or my symptoms would be intense and constant.

Although I do attribute some of my visual issues to my balance problem (of course), I do attribute some of them to the stress of just having to deal with the phsyical symptoms, muscle strain, and emotional stress of my condition. When I feel less woozy in the head, my eyes look clearer and brighter.

I still continue to experience visual issues, some of which are considered "normal" or benign eye behavior since I've asked about them - and some of them I feel are not.

It's good to get your eyes checked out, even going as far as a second opinion. It's difficult sometimes to accept symptoms if you've been told you're healthy and you haven't been given a reason for them, I know.
